Rose Farm FAQ's
Are you open to the public? Do we need an appointment to visit?

We are open to the public! Our hours differ by season, you can find our calendar under The Farm tab. When our hours are open to the public, there’s no need to make an appointment to visit! Upon your arrival, we ask that you park in our "Guest Parking", which is located on the left hand side when you first pull in the drive. Once parked, we encourage you to come stop in The Shoppe, which is located at the very front of the red building.

What are workshoppes? How many guests can attend?

We invite you to be our guest in a workshoppe. Workshoppes are classes taught by our Farm Educators. They are held in The Shoppe, and in the gardens (seasonally). You can choose from a selection of culinary, art and floral workshoppes. Our workshoppes are boutique-sized, averaging 12 guests per workshoppe. You are invited to visit our "The Shoppe + Workshoppes" page to see a line-up of upcoming workshoppes!

Do you offer private workshoppes?

Of course! Rose Farm is happy to create customized workshoppes in the gardens, or in The Shoppe, for a one-of-a-kind experience in the idyllic countryside. Choose from floral, art, and culinary workshoppes. Customized workshoppes are wonderful for birthday parties, baby + bridal showers, team outings, or just because! Our educators will offer private workshoppes for groups of eight or more guests.

When does Farm School start? Do I need a reservation?

Join us each Friday, June-August, for a complimentary 45-minute Farm School session. With exciting lessons on pollinators, chickens, flowers and more, Farm School has been designed to give school-aged children a front-row seat to a modern farmstead. Listen to a story, enjoy hands-on learning activities + make a craft. No RSVP is required, please just drop in and join us!

Can I bring my dog on a leash?

We think furry friends make life sweeter, and they are always welcome. Our one request is that they are on a leash. Our chickens get very excited when meeting new friends!
