Join pastry chef + baker Mary Sanigular for a three-hour, hands-on workshoppe that will leave each guest feeling like French patisserie owner Jane Adler from It's Complicated. Guests will learn to create three classic, French-inspired desserts including vanilla bean créme brûlée, éclairs + chocolate croissants. Guests will master the techniques for creating silky custards, perfect pastries in a pinch, and rich chocolate fillings while enjoying the cozy warm aesthetic of Nancy Meyers' kitchen. This is the perfect workshoppe for baking enthusiasts, fans of Nancy Meyers' films, or anyone looking to create elegant, movie-worthy desserts. A complimentary beverage is also included.

Capture the magic of the season with this 2-hour watercolor workshoppe. Using wreaths, winter foliage, and cardinals as inspiration, artist Christine Hilbert will guide participants through the art of watercolor painting. Guests will gather in The Shoppe while Hilbert shares various techniques for creating texture, movement, and color. All materials provided. A complimentary beverage will be served. 

Ready to step up your cookie game this holiday season? Maggie will teach you all sorts of tricks: how to achieve the perfect royal icing consistency for piping and flooding, tips for tinting your icing, and decorating techniques for all levels. Guests will leave with a dozen whimsical woodland holiday cookies to share with family and friends. (Note: this class is geared toward adults.)

Grab your friends + come join us as we get into the Christmas spirit. During this two-hour demonstration, guests will learn how to make four sweet holiday treats, including caramel marshmallow delights, pretzel turtles, toffee + iced gingerbread cookies. Each guest will enjoy a mug of hot cocoa before heading home with these delightful seasonal recipes that you'll be eager to re-create + share with your family and friends. All skill levels are welcome.

It's a simple way to add an extra special (and fragrant!) holiday touch to any space. A swag also makes such a personal + beautiful holiday gift for a hostess, friend, teacher, or loved one. Guests will begin by choosing an arrangement of the freshest greenery that has been sourced from all over North America. Then, educator Erin Dougherty will provide instruction on how to design a beautiful swag, focusing on the shape of the design, sizing of the swag, as well as how to hang a swag. Unique holiday embellishments will be offered to ensure just the right amount of holiday cheer is placed on each swag. Guests will leave the workshoppe feeling confident in their skills for designing additional swags to be used throughout their homes. A complimentary beverage is included.

Rich, buttery shortbread is the perfect cookie to add to your holiday baking line-up! Shortbread has a nice, long shelf life, so it's great to include in a holiday cookie tin and to give as a gift. In this two-hour demonstration, guests will learn how to make Pie Bird Pies' most popular holiday shortbread cookies: vanilla bean, triple chocolate, ginger rye, and holiday punch (rosemary, orange, and cranberry shortbread). In this workshoppe, guests will learn the foundations of shortbread, which will also provide the skills and a base recipe to experiment with one's own favorite flavors. Each guest will get to sample shortbread cookies during class, and take home the recipes for these cookies, too.

Join us this holiday season for a two-hour, hands-on festive + aromatic workshoppe creating an orange clove pomander topiary for your home. There's nothing like waking up on Christmas morning + being greeted with the heavenly scent of oranges as you rush down the stairs. Educator Erin Dougherty will provide step-by-step instructions for guests to create this classic, winter holiday decoration that will fill every home with a fresh, festive, old-world farmhouse feel, delighting the senses. This beautiful holiday topiary, approximately 12 inches tall, can be displayed in your kitchen, on a sideboard, on a holiday or entryway table, or anywhere in your home where you're looking to infuse a natural, clean fragrance that speaks to the holiday season. A complimentary beverage is also included.

He's making a list, he's checking it twice, he's going find out who's naughty or nice - Santa Claus is coming to Rose Farm! Join us on Saturday, December 7th for holiday magic as Santa flies in from the North Pole for a very special visit. Step inside the festive greenhouse to meet Santa + have ten (10) professional photos taken by local photographer, Lauren Konrad. Make a special treat for the reindeer to take home + sprinkle on your lawn Christmas Eve. Enjoy a hot cocoa bar outside under The Garden Pavilion and listen to a story read by Santa inside The Shoppe. Take home a holiday-themed book signed by Santa, along with a Rose Farm sweet treat bag + custom coloring page created by artist Christine Hilbert. The farm will be sprinkled with holiday magic at every turn, creating a dreamy background for photos. Each session is 45 minutes in length, and sessions will begin on the hour at 2 PM, 3 PM + 4 PM. This is a ticketed event. All children, regardless of age, require a ticket. Due to space limitations, we kindly ask for no more than two adults/family. Please note, all professional photos by Lauren Konrad will be shared digitally after the event.

Come explore all of the fragrances at Rose Farm + learn the art of candle-making with Ali Coppola from Currently Co. During this two-hour workshoppe, you will choose your own fragrances + make three (7 oz.) candles. Learn about the science + creativity that goes into producing every candle. While your candles harden, you'll experience the magic of the season at Rose Farm.‍

Cultivate your creativity, inspire your imagination and design a beautiful winter grapevine wreath. Guests will choose from a selection of greenery, including pine, noble fir, magnolia, juniper, holly, and more, to transform an 18-inch grapevine wreath into a work of art during this two-hour workshoppe. Unique accents will be available to adorn your personal creation. With care, your wreath can be used year after year. Embrace your creative side with an evening of artistry! All materials and tools are provided. A complimentary beverage is included.

Karri Rose, Erin Dougherty + Julie Mason will be in The Shoppe helping you create your own customized holiday garlands, swags + wreaths for your home. You choose the size(s), bows + embellishments, and Karri, Erin + Julie will provide their floral design insight + expertise as you style your greenery. Please note, your $50 reservation fee holds your spot + will be applied toward your greenery purchase on the day of the event.
